My name is Hayley Harrison.  I’m a 31 year old New Yorker living in a fixer-upper in rural Florida with my husband since 2017, Michael, and our six children.  I’m a stepmom to 11, 13 and 19 year old girls and a 15 year old boy, and momma to one- and three-year old girls.  I run on carbs, La Croix, and coffee, and live in leggings and ponytails. I’m a University of Florida graduate and a licensed veterinarian, though sometimes I’m still not sure what I want to be when I grow up! I’m a Christian woman, growing my faith and building my relationship with God every day.

This blog will be about most of that. My family, and learning to be a wife and a parent to these blessings God has bestowed upon me.  There will be posts about our life, tips and tricks I’ve learned along the way, as well as life as a working mom.  I will talk about making our house a home, feeding our bigger-than-average sized family, and the struggles and celebrations encountered raising our kiddos.  My intention is to be brief and to the point, timely with my posts and to keep it interesting, but life happens, kids interrupt, and us mommas are always thinking of 1,097 things at once.  So I can’t promise it will be perfect — not the blog and certainly not me — but I will try my hardest to be honest and real (and grammatically correct).

Thanks for stopping by!

Hayley
